Our coaching approach elevates building awareness of the perspectives of the individuals who create the tapestry of the organization while building on solid principles of organizational development. We use this combination of art and science to strengthen leaders’ effectiveness in leveraging the talents of diverse teams toward stellar outcomes for the individuals receiving care.
What sets our training approach apart is our commitment to first knowing the organization, then customizing content that is responsive to its unique context. We never offer ‘big-box’ training, focused on generalities and non-specific principles. We provide current, research and practice-based didactic content, infused with knowledge of our clients' specific workflows, protocols, culture and other organizational nuances that impact knowledge application.
Our method of clinical program development begins with an assessment of the context for implementation and the factors that may fuel or inhibit uptake. We consider characteristics of the target population(s) and availability of sustainability resources. From there, we work with the organization to contextualize the change management process, ensuring stakeholder alignment, product and care-pathway alignment, resource allocation and prioritization, fidelity and impact monitoring, with revisioning, as needed.
We help your team establish the core skills and knowledge necessary to function effectively in a clinical environment. This series is designed to occur as a part of the new hire orientation process and is most effective when completed within the first four to six weeks of commencing a new role. Tracks are available for:
Clinicians and care-facing roles
Executives and managers
Non-clinical & support service roles
We bring simplicity and fidelity to your ongoing team development. Providing relevant opportunities for skill enhancement is one of most effective ways for increasing employee satisfaction and reducing turnover. We work closely with your leadership team to customize a series of required and recommended annual staff development trainings and support your Human Resource department in monitoring employee learning, simplifying tracking for the purpose of credentialing. This series may encompass trainings required by state behavioral health regulations, accrediting entities and those highlighted by the organization as priorities for ongoing staff development.
Implementing a new clinical practice requires more than just knowledge of the protocols. In this series we work with clinical and executive leadership to identify the goals and context for the implementation. We provide architecture and scaffolding of the entire implementation process, including: programmatic needs assessment and selection of aligned evidence-based interventions; orientation for direct and indirect roles; guidance on selection of an implementation team; support in design of implementation strategy; training for critical roles; identification of outcome indicators, and guidance on protocols for monitoring fidelity and impact.
Educating our communities is our passion and a significant part of our mission. Community Chats allow us to share practical knowledge, fostering awareness of the impacts of behavioral health on our lives and communities. Knowledge truly is power and supports building resilience and increased utilization of resources. Not everyone enters the formal system of care but each individual can be better informed about strategies to support their own wellbeing and that of their loved ones. Reach out to our team to discuss whether your community-based, civic or faith-based organization can be a partner for a Community Chat.
